Job summary

Ameriflight LLC, the nation’s largest Part 135 air cargo airline, has part-time openings for Ramp Service Agents at Hollywood Burbank Airport. This position offers Tuesday-Friday shifts from 4:00 A.M. to 7:00 A.M., three hours per day, with a starting pay of $21.50 per hour.

Duties include assisting in load and offload of air cargo and, if needed, operating ground support equipment and vehicles. Benefits include paid sick leave per state law and opportunities for advancement.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Must meet airport badge requirements, including a background check.
• May drive or operate ground handling equipment; valid Driver's License required.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must work well in a team with customers and employees.
• Reliable transportation to and from the airport.

Position: Ramp Service Agent
Employment Type: Part Time
Location: Hollywood Burbank Airport
Shift: Tuesday-Friday 4:00 A.M. - 7:00 A.M., 3 hours per day guaranteed
Starting Pay: $21.50

Duties

• Primary duty is to assist in load and offload of air cargo
• Additional duties may include the operation of vehicles and ground support equipment on airport

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship
• Must be able to meet airport badging requirements, including a 10-year background check
• May be required to drive or operate ground handling equipment - must have a valid Driver’s License and meet all company insurance criteria
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating manuals
• Must be able to work effectively in a team with customers and other employees
• Must have reliable transportation to and from the airport
• Must be able frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds. Bend, squat kneel, crouch, stoop, reach and handle repeatedly
• Must be able to stand up to 3 hours per shift with minimal sitting

Work Environment

You will be working in an airport environment with running and moving aircraft, ground support vehicles, loading equipment and cargo containers

• Work in moderately to loud levels of noise
• Work outside in adverse weather
• Work near moving aircraft and equipment
