Job summary

ABM Industries is seeking an Airline Passenger Assistant (Wheelchair Agent) in West Palm Beach, FL. You will assist airline passengers who need wheelchair service, ensuring safe handling, smooth transport, and friendly, professional customer care throughout the client site.

No formal education is required, and on‑the‑job training is provided; 18+ years old. Prior customer service helps, but is not mandatory. ABM emphasizes safety, security compliance, and reliable teamwork.

Qualifications

• Follow safety precautions at all times while transporting passengers.
• Positive interpersonal interaction with passengers.
• Comply with all client and/or site security requirements and processes.
• Safely transport passengers in wheelchairs from their retrieval point to their desired destination within the client site or grounds.
• Assist passengers with baggage retrieval and transport, if necessary.
• Coordinate assignments with dispatchers and gate Agents, if necessary.
• Complete thorough Incident Reports.

Job description

We are looking for a reliable and experienced Airline Passenger Assistant, also known as the Wheelchair Agent, to fulfill airline passenger service obligations for passengers who require or request wheelchair assistance. Passenger services positions are very customer service-oriented and "tipping" is allowed and customary. Wheelchair Agents who provide extraordinary customer service are known to increase their earning potential between $25-$100 per week.

• No experience required and on the job training provided
