Job description

The Airline Passenger Assistant, also known as the Wheelchair Agent, fulfills airline passenger service obligations for passengers who require or request wheelchair assistance. Passenger services positions are very customer service-oriented, and tipping is allowed and customary. Wheelchair Agents providing exceptional customer service can increase their earnings by $25–$100 per week.

Minimum Qualifications:

• No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
• No experience required; on-the-job training provided

Preferred Qualifications:

• One (1) year of customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities:

1. Follow safety precautions at all times while transporting passengers
2. Interact positively with passengers
3. Comply with all security requirements and procedures
4. Safely transport passengers in wheelchairs within the client site or grounds
5. Assist passengers with baggage retrieval and transport, if necessary
6. Coordinate with dispatchers and gate agents as needed
7. Complete thorough incident reports

This role is suitable for individuals entering or re-entering the workforce with limited experience and education.
