Job summary

gategroup is seeking a Food Preparer in Inwood, NY (Nassau County, near Far Rockaway) to pack meals for airlines. You will assemble equipment and food components, follow procedures, and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include maintaining sanitation standards, meeting deadlines, and assisting with paperwork. Must read/write for forms, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds; weekend/holiday shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to read and write to complete required forms.
• Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors and co-workers.
• Team-oriented, able to work with others in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Assembles equipment and food components according to airline specifications following procedures and diagrams.
• Keeps production areas in compliance with sanitation standards and customer requirements.
• Follows directions and works as a member of a team.
• Additional duties may be assigned by management.
