Job summary

Flying Food Group is seeking a Station Attendant to assemble, portion, and package meal components in a fast-paced production environment, supporting airline and retail meal services. The role emphasizes food safety, hygiene, and adherence to HACCP standards, with AM or PM shift options.

As a non-exempt position, employees work under strict sanitation protocols, operate knives and slicing equipment safely, and ensure accurate portion control while maintaining quality and efficiency across

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in food handling, food service, or food manufacturing preferred
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations
• Ability to read and interpret production charts, diagrams, and recipes
• Proficient in using kitchen tools, including knives and slicing equipment, safely
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Assemble, portion, and package meals per airline specifications.
• Follow HACCP guidelines and PPE; ensure hygiene and safety.
• Read charts/diagrams to determine item types and quantities.
• Arrange cold items for tray assembly to support production flow.
• Assemble and garnish meals according to portion standards.
• Inspect food for contamination and quality compliance.
• Safely operate knives and slicing equipment to required sizes.
• Store completed trays and label items for storage or transport.
• Return unused items to storage with proper dating and labeling.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary workstation and follow sanitation protocols.
• Adhere to airline and retail service procedures and timelines.
