Flying Food Group is hiring a Station Attendant to assemble, portion, and package meal components in a fast-paced production facility in Kahului, Hawaii. The role requires strict adherence to HACCP, safety protocols, and quality standards, with AM/PM shift possibilities and a non-exempt status.

The position emphasizes precise portioning, labeling, and tray assembly for airline and retail meal service, while maintaining sanitation and teamwork in a challenging production environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous experience in food handling, food service, or food manufacturing preferred
• Knowledge of HACCP and food safety regulations
• Ability to read and interpret production charts, diagrams, and recipes
• Proficient in using kitchen tools, including knives and slicing equipment, safely
• Strong attention to detail and quality standards
• Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions and work as part of a team

Responsibilities

• Follow HACCP guidelines and PPE; observe safety and food safety regulations.
• Read and follow instructional charts to determine types and quantities of foods to be packaged per airline specification.
• Assemble, portion, and garnish meals into serving dishes according to standards.
• Inspect food for contamination and quality compliance.
• Operate knives and slicing machinery safely to cut items to size/weight.
• Store completed trays with proper labeling/dating; dispose of waste per procedures.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary workstation and comply with sanitation standards.
• Follow company procedures to uphold gold standards in quality.
• Assemble and organize meal trays for flight service (airline tasks) and food items for retail (retail tasks).
• Shift-focused duties for AM/PM with production prep and end-of-day tasks.
