Role Overview

Sodexo Live!'s Airport Lounge Segment has an exciting opportunity for a Food and Beverage Operations Manager at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS) in Boston, MA. Our airport lounges are known for comfort and elegance, providing an oasis away from the airport hustle. The Food and Beverage Manager will oversee the food and beverage program, including food prep, cooks, bartenders, and food attendants. Responsibilities include managing lounge operations, culinary standards, ordering, inventory, staff training, and financial reporting. The ideal candidate will have experience in culinary training, service monitoring, and ensuring compliance with Sodexo and airline standards. Oversight includes both bar and back of house operations. We seek individuals with strong communication skills, flexibility, and adaptability in a dynamic environment.

What You'll Do

The successful candidate will:

  1. Have previous experience in food, beverage, and culinary roles within hotels, restaurants, or upscale hospitality venues;
  2. Oversee daily food operations and ensure high-quality service;
  3. Meet financial targets set by the company and client;
  4. Use Food Management systems for menu development, ordering, and inventory management;
  5. Provide exceptional service quality;
  6. Taste products, read menus, estimate food requirements, check production, and maintain records for planning and requisitions;
  7. Comply with safety, risk management, and HACCP policies and procedures.

What You Bring

The ideal candidate will have:

  1. 2-5 years of management experience in restaurants, hotels, or foodservice organizations;
  2. Experience at AGM or GM level, comfortable being the lead manager;
  3. Decision-making skills for daily operations;
  4. Strong background in safety, sanitation, HACCP, and health department interactions;
  5. Leadership skills as a coach, trainer, and people developer;
  6. A passion for travel and hospitality industries.

Qualifications & Requirements

Minimum Education: Associate's Degree or equivalent experience.

Minimum Management Experience: 2 years.

Functional Experience: At least 1 year in food or culinary services, including restaurants, catering, vending, or institutional food services.
