Role Overview

Sodexo Live!'s Airport Lounge Segment is seeking a General Manager for our premium client, Cathay Pacific Airlines Lounge at Harvey Milk International Airport in San Francisco, CA. Our lounges offer a space for elite passengers to relax, enjoy food from the buffet, or order beverages from the full-service bar. We seek a dynamic manager focused on elevating guest experience.

As the General Manager, you will oversee daily operations and service staff including food & beverage managers, supervisors, bartenders, and custodial staff. This hands-on role requires active participation in daily service operations. The ideal candidate will have food & beverage experience, a keen eye for detail, high service standards, and leadership skills. You will also be responsible for financial management and cost controls.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Overseeing daily food operations and ensuring high-quality service
  2. Achieving financial targets and managing budgets
  3. Developing and maintaining client and customer relationships
  4. Motivating, coaching, and developing staff
  5. Ensuring compliance with Sodexo standards, safety, and food safety programs
  6. Managing profit & loss, inventory, and fiscal responsibilities
