Qualifications

• English reading, speaking and writing required.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and safe handling.
• Familiarity with recipes and food-production methods.
• Knowledge of basic knife cuts and prep techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and safety.
• Able to multitask in a fast-paced production environment.
• Teamwork oriented; experience with kitchen equipment preferred.
• Basic ability to operate tablets and other workplace technology.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to established recipes, specifications, and production procedures.
• Assist cooks with ingredient preparation and recipe execution.
• Cut, slice, dice, and prepare ingredients using basic culinary techniques.
• Ensure food meets standards for taste, color, texture, portioning, and presentation.
• Wrap, label, date, refrigerate, and properly store food products.
• Follow HACCP and food safety requirements including proper temperature controls.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized workstation.
• Monitor inventory and request additional food products or supplies as needed.
• Safely use cutlery, kitchen equipment, and food-production machinery.
• Use tablets to support daily production activities.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
