Qualifications

• Read, speak, and write English.
• Basic knowledge of food preparation and safe food-handling practices.
• Familiarity with recipes and food-production methods.
• Knowledge of basic culinary knife cuts and techniques.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and safety.
• Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare food according to established recipes, specifications, and production procedures.
• Assist cooks with ingredient preparation and recipe execution.
• Cut, slice, dice, and prepare ingredients using basic culinary techniques.
• Ensure food meets standards for taste, color, texture, portioning, and presentation.
• Wrap, label, date, refrigerate, and store food according to procedures.
• Follow HACCP and food safety requirements including temperature controls and documentation.
• Maintain a clean, organized workstation throughout the shift.
• Monitor inventory and request additional supplies as needed.
