Job summary

GAT Airline Ground Support is seeking a Customer Service Supervisor to oversee airline customer service operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficient ground handling. You will audit flight paperwork, evaluate leads, and coordinate with airport authorities.

The role requires supervision of staff, timely reporting, and maintaining regulatory standards, with attendance and shift coverage duties as part of daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must have strong understanding of Airline Customer Service.
• Experience in Airport Ground Handling preferred.
• Must be able to read and follow regulations.
• Must be able to work variable shifts including weekends and holidays.
• Must clear FBI fingerprint background check.

Responsibilities

• Monitor safe and efficient operation of all airline ground support equipment.
• Report discrepancies in ground support equipment (functional and mechanical).
• Coordinate between carriers to ensure on-time cargo and baggage handling.
• Ensure crews are briefed before flights and know their responsibilities.
• Supervise daily personnel coverage and adherence to attendance standards.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations and company policies.
• Interact with airline customers and airport authorities as liaison.
