Job summary

Flying Food Group LLC is seeking a hardworking Porter to maintain cleanliness and sanitation in fresh or frozen food storage and prep areas within a high-volume facility. You will operate cleaning equipment, work in cold environments, and support production teams with timely sanitation to meet safety standards.

Applicants should be 18+, have a HS diploma or GED, and prior sanitation or porter experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in porter, dishwasher, or sanitation roles in food manufacturing or commercial kitchens preferred.

Responsibilities

• Wash, sanitize, and organize trays, utensils, and surfaces used in food preparation.
• Work in cold storage and freezer environments maintaining safety and productivity.
• Clean racks, carts, shelves, and floors per cleaning schedules.
• Follow sanitation protocols for fresh or frozen foods and PPE guidelines.
• Monitor equipment and temperature; report issues to supervisors.
• Assist teams by restocking tools and maintaining a clean work area.
