Job summary

DO & CO in Des Plaines, IL is seeking a Food Assembly Helper to join our hospitality-focused team. You will assemble food items to spec and ensure safe handling while working in a dynamic, high-standards environment.

Qualifications

• Able to manage through a substantial workload.
• Capable to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Able to complete assigned tasks within the given time to meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to work long hours on foot and in environments with varying temperatures.
• Flexibility to work different shifts (including nights, weekends, and holidays) based on business needs.

Responsibilities

• Assemble food items including tray setup. Follow airline specifications which usually include tray setting for hot meals, cold meals, salad, snacks, bread, butter, and condiments.
• Comply with all food safety and hygiene regulations as stated in the food safety management system handbook. Report problems with the food safety management system to their manager and the hygiene and food safety team.
