gategroup is seeking a seasoned General Manager to lead its airline catering units (flight kitchens) with $60+ million in annual revenue and 700+ employees. You will own the P&L, drive operational performance, ensure health and safety compliance, and develop the leadership team.

Reporting to the Managing Director, you will build budgets, engage customers, and lead continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining regulatory standards across FDA, HACCP, and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration or related field required.
• Minimum 15 years of management experience in in-flight catering or food manufacturing.
• Proven experience with managing financials and budget responsibility for a single operating unit.
• Lean manufacturing and/or six sigma and continuous improvement preferred.
• Experience leading a team of supervisors and managers for a single operating unit.
• Labor relations experience required.

Responsabilités

• Accountable for all aspects of the business of the units.
• Drives positive relationships with customers of the business units.
• Ensures budgets are created, communicated, and delivered.
• Leads compliance with regulatory, customer and internal policies.
• Identifies root causes and develops robust action plans.
• Leads continuous improvement initiatives to advance the unit.
• Oversees recruitment to ensure the right people in the right roles.
• Manages salary review processes with HR to balance engagement and cost.
• Maintains alignment with company policy and procedures.
