Job summary

LSG Sky Chefs at MSP International Airport is seeking Food Service Workers to prep and plate a variety of airline meals and desserts. The role requires following airline specifications and food safety standards.

You will work in a fast-paced environment across multiple stations and shifts, including weekends and holidays. Applicants must be able to stand for long periods, handle knives safely, and pass pre-employment drug screening and background checks.

Qualifications

• Ability to view diagrams and take direction from supervisor.
• Ability to perform simple calculations.
• Ability to operate mobile shelving, carts, and airline catering equipment.
• Ability to safely use knives and kitchen tools.
• Must pass pre-hire drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Prep and prepare sandwiches, salads, cold plates, desserts, and hors d'oeuvres.
• Plate entrees and pack food carts according to airline specs and FDA/HACCP standards.
• Stand for long periods and work across shifts, including weekends and holidays.

This position is responsible for prepping and preparing sandwiches, salads, cold plates, appetizers and hors d'oeuvres and desserts and plating entrees and packing food carts in accordance with airline specifications and FDA and HACCP food hygiene standards.

• Able to use mobile shelving, carts, and airline catering equipment
• Able to use knives and other kitchen equipment safely

• Must be able to work any shift including weekends and holidays (We operate 24 hours a day & 7 days a week)
