Job summary

SelectTech is seeking an Airframe Technician in Colorado Springs to assemble major structures and perform precision part fitting on aerospace vehicles. You will align components using jigs, verify dimensions with precision tools, and modify assemblies while maintaining strict quality controls.

The role requires interpretation of schematics, 5–10 years of depot-level experience, and ability to work both independently and in teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 5–10 years depot level structural installations/repairs on large aircraft.
• Ability to read schematics, diagrams, blueprints and manuals and install per drawings.

Responsibilities

• Assemble and/or create major assembly structures and perform minor part-fitting operations.
• Align parts on jigs and aircraft using templates; verify dimensions with micrometers/calipers.
• Modify assemblies and incorporate changes; monitor and verify quality per procedures.
