Job summary

PCC Airfoils, LLC in Douglas, Georgia is seeking a Touch Up Operator to perform finishing touch ups on cast parts. The role requires reading QES and applying the inspection, using air-powered tools and grit blasting as needed.

You'll lift parts up to 25 pounds, work overtime including weekends, and contribute to meeting quality standards. The position is on-site in the Finishing department with nine months OJT training.

Qualifications

• Basic high school education with nine months OJT training.
• Knowledge of QES-based visual inspection of castings.
• Able to lift parts up to 25 pounds.
• Willing to work overtime including weekends.

Responsibilities

• Read and apply the QES to visual inspection of a casting.
• Indications are evaluated to accept or reject based on QES.
• Operate air powered tool to remove defects and/or rework castings.
• Grit blast parts in an enclosed cabinet as needed.
• "Toy Soldier" inspection to identify differences per QES.
• Lift individual parts up to 6 pounds and trays up to 25 pounds.
• Touch up all parts within area.
• May train Touch Up Operator I as required.
