Pratt & Whitney is seeking an Airfoil Cell Operator for the 3rd shift, onsite at our East Hartford, CT facility. The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of relevant experience in manufacturing or aerospace environments.

You will set up and operate simple machines, follow operation sheets, perform surface conditioning processes, and verify measurements with precision instruments, contributing to the production of engine components.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years of relevant experience required.
• Internal candidates preferred per bargaining unit language in posting.

Responsabilités

• Set up and operate simple machines or equipment to produce parts with proper tooling and fixtures.
• Work from operation sheets and drawings to machine, fabricate and finish parts; perform bench assembly and finishing operations.
• Perform grit blast, shot peening, masking and routine oven operations to condition surfaces for coatings.
• Use fixed and variable measuring instruments to check dimensions and record results in computer data systems.
