Job summary

Hanwha Aerospace USA in East Windsor, CT, is seeking a meticulous deburr/polish associate to work with shoulder-to-shoulder with a skilled team on aerospace components. You will remove burs, polish surfaces, and verify dimensions using blueprints and instructions.

The role requires a U.S. person, ability to read/write English, and at least 1 year in manufacturing. A post-offer evaluation ensures safety and capability for the essential duties.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. Person as defined by the U.S. Government and able to work without restrictions with ITAR related data.
• Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English at a functional level.
• 1+ years of experience in a Manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Creates edge breaks and removes burs per work instructions or blueprint.
• Polishes machined edges and surfaces per work instructions or blueprint.
• Manual break of edges and shoeshine of broach slots.
• Process holes per customer specifications and work instructions.
• Use various tools and methods to check dimensions of completed deburr work.
• Processing of blisk surface finish/transition lines of blades using handheld power tools.
• Rework of aerospace parts to conform to customer blueprint per work instructions.
• Perform other related duties or responsibilities as required.
