Job summary

Hanwha Aerospace USA in East Windsor, CT is seeking a fabrication/ manufacturing professional to deburr and polish surfaces on aerospace parts using small hand tools. You will follow blueprints and work instructions to create precise edges, breaks, and surface finishes, maintaining quality and dimensional accuracy.

The role requires a High School diploma or GED, 1+ year of manufacturing experience, and the ability to travel up to 10% domestically. U.S.

Qualifications

Must be able to read, write, understand, and speak English at a functional level.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering work instructions.
Must have strong attention to detail.
Must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by the U.S. Government and able to work with ITAR data.

Responsibilities

Creates edge breaks and removes burs per work instructions or blueprint
Polishes machined edges and surfaces per work instructions or blueprint
Manual break of edges and shoeshine of broach slots
Process holes per customer specifications and work instructions
Use various tools and methods to check dimensions of completed deburr work
Processing of blisk surface finish/transition lines of blades using handheld power tools
Rework of aerospace parts to conform to customer blueprint per work instructions
Perform other related duties or responsibilities as required
