RQ Construction, LLC in Elizabeth City, North Carolina is seeking an experienced Construction Quality Control Manager (CQCM) to join our Field Operations team. Local candidates preferred; relocation or travel may be considered for qualified applicants.

The CQCM will develop and enforce the project-specific Quality Control Plan, ensure compliance with quality standards, manage documentation, and collaborate with clients and project staff to drive quality and project satisfaction on airfield and

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years in commercial construction roles (superintendent, QC manager, PM, or PE).
• At least 2 years specifically as a Quality Control Manager.
• Current USACE CQM for Contractors certification; RMS/QCS familiarity preferred.
• Airfield or runway project experience preferred.
• Additional inspection licenses or trade certifications are highly valued.
• LEED AP / AP+ or Green Associate credentials are a plus.
• EM 385-1-1 Level 1, CPR, First Aid, and OSHA 30 certifications required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office, email, and internet applications.
• Experience with Viewpoint/Vista and RMS/QCS is preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare, manage, and enforce the project-specific Quality Control Plan.
• Ensure compliance with established quality standards and documentation accuracy.
• Coordinate with project stakeholders to maintain client relationships and satisfaction.
• Support field operations as CQCM and align activities with RQ's Mission, Vision, and Values.
