Job summary

Salt Lake City Corporation is seeking an Airfield Maintenance Supervisor to lead a crew responsible for airfield, roadways, and grounds maintenance, ensuring safe and efficient operations and timely responses to emergencies. This is a full-time supervisory role with a strong emphasis on leadership and operational excellence.

The position requires extensive knowledge of airport environments, training of staff, coordination with airport staff and contractors, and hands-on guidance, including snow

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus six years of relevant maintenance experience.
• Two years in a supervisory or lead role as part of the six-year requirement.
• Ability to read blueprints, diagrams, and operation manuals.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL may be required for some duties.

Responsibilities

• Directs day-to-day work schedules for maintenance crews.
• Supervises maintenance work to meet deadlines and quality standards.
• Provides technical assistance and inspects ongoing projects.
• Coordinates activities between crews and sites; maintains reports and logs.
