Job summary

TRP Infrastructure Services seeks an Airfield Marking Technician to join our Water Blasting team. This hands-on role involves cleaning, maintaining, repairing, and operating field equipment with a strong emphasis on safety and teamwork.

The ideal candidate shows initiative, can adapt to changing project needs, and is eager to learn multiple roles while prioritizing safe practices. Nights and weekends flexibility is required for project schedules.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures and safe equipment practices.
• Ability to follow directions, work as part of a team, and adapt to changing project needs.
• Previous equipment maintenance, water blasting, or related field experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manually clean and repair valves, hoses, pumps, and tanks in accordance with training and established procedures.
• Inspect equipment, identify deficiencies, and promptly report concerns or needed repairs to the supervisor.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance, including fueling and routine checks.
• Support maintenance and Water Blasting crews with assigned equipment and field tasks.
• Follow established lockout/tagout procedures and jobsite safety protocols.
• Communicate clearly with coworkers using verbal instructions and established non-verbal signals.
• Exercise sound judgment when accessing worksites and performing assigned operations.
• Learn additional roles and perform other assigned duties consistent with training and safety requirements.
