Job summary

TRP Infrastructure Services is seeking an Airfield Marking Technician to join our Water Blasting team. This hands-on role supports equipment cleaning, routine maintenance, repairs, and field operations.

We are looking for someone who takes initiative, works well with a crew, and is eager to learn multiple roles while making safety a priority. The position involves outdoor work in varying weather, lifting 50–100 pounds with team or mechanical assistance, and flexible hours including nights and

Qualifications

• Self-motivated, proactive, and willing to take initiative to learn and grow.
• Knowledge of lockout/tagout procedures and safe equipment practices.
• Ability to follow directions, work as part of a team, and adapt to changing project needs.

Responsibilities

• Manually clean and repair valves, hoses, pumps, and tanks in accordance with training and established procedures.
• Inspect equipment, identify deficiencies, and promptly report concerns or needed repairs to the supervisor.
• Perform daily equipment maintenance, including fueling and routine checks.
• Support maintenance and Water Blasting crews with assigned equipment and field tasks.
• Follow established lockout/tagout procedures and jobsite safety protocols.
• Communicate clearly with coworkers using verbal instructions and established non-verbal signals.
• Exercise sound judgment when accessing worksites and performing assigned operations.
• Learn additional roles and perform other assigned duties consistent with training and safety requirements.

Schedule & Physical Requirements

• Flexible availability to meet project schedules, including nights and weekends.
• Ability to work outdoors in changing and adverse weather conditions while following safety procedures.
• Ability to walk and stoop regularly throughout the workday.
• Ability to lift and move materials and equipment weighing 50-100 pounds, using team lifting or mechanical assistance for heavier loads.
