Job summary

The Springfield-Branson National Airport is seeking candidates for the Airfield Maintenance Worker to keep our pilots, passengers, and community safe. The role covers general maintenance around the airfield, runways, grounds, and equipment, including mowing, electrical, painting, and related tasks.

You will face all weather conditions and may be called for emergencies. Work hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in general grounds and facilities maintenance.
• Experience must include operating light to medium construction equipment and vehicles.
• Must possess a valid Driver's License; Class B Commercial Driver's License with air brakes within the probationary period.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance around and on the airport's airfield, runways, grounds and equipment.
• Mowing, electrical, painting and maintenance tasks as daily responsibilities.
• Work in all types of weather and be subject to emergency call-in.

Job description

The Springfield-Branson National Airport is seeking candidates who are interested in keeping our pilots, passengers, and community safe while traveling!

The Airfield Maintenance Worker is a pivotal role that will perform general maintenance work around and on the airport's airfield, runways, grounds and equipment. Mowing, electrical, painting, and maintenance will be the daily responsibilities of this position. Position will work in all types of weather and be subject to emergency call-in. The scheduled hours for our current vacancy is 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday.

Experience, Education, and Training

• Two years of experience in construction or general maintenance of commercial grounds and facilities such as mowing, dirt work, sidewalks and asphalt/concrete maintenance and repairs;
• Experience must include operating light to medium construction equipment and vehicles.

Licensing/Certification

• Must possess a valid Driver's License;
• Must obtain and maintain a Class "B" Commercial Driver's License with air brakes within the probationary period

Preferred

• Certified Public Operator Pesticide License Category 3.
