Job summary

The City of Springfield is seeking an Airfield Maintenance Worker for Springfield-Branson National Airport to perform general maintenance on the airfield, runways, grounds, and equipment, including mowing, electrical, painting, and related tasks.

Work in all weather and be available for emergency call-ins. Hours are 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Monday–Friday. A valid driver’s license is required, with CDL Class B (air brakes) required within the probationary period; pesticide license Category 3 preferred.

Qualifications

• Two years of experience in construction or general maintenance of commercial grounds and facilities such as mowing, dirt work, sidewalks and asphalt/concrete maintenance and repairs.
• Experience must include operating light to medium construction equipment and vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance around the airfield, runways, grounds and equipment.
• Mowing, electrical, painting, and maintenance tasks as needed.
• Work in all weather and be available for emergency call-ins.
• Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday.
