Job summary

City-of-Concor airport maintenance technician is responsible for general maintenance and service of airport equipment, vehicles, and machinery. The role includes daily inspections, routine servicing, and record-keeping of parts and time spent on each task.

You will perform airfield and building maintenance, assist with lighting, striping, snow removal, and cleaning of ramp areas. Valid NC driver's license required; CDL preferred. This is a full-time, on-site position with physical requirements.

Qualifications

• Valid North Carolina Driver's License.
• Commercial Driver's License preferred.
• Able to perform very heavy work.
• Standing, walking, lifting, and bending required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains airport equipment, vehicles, and machinery through daily inspections and routine servicing.
• Keeps records of maintenance, requisitions, materials used, and time spent on each job.
• Performs airfield maintenance including lighting, wiring, and snow removal on taxiways and runways.
• Performs building maintenance such as lighting, drywall, painting, and janitorial tasks in city buildings/hangars.
• Cleans ramp and tiedown areas and supports other duties as required.
