Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED with 1 year of related maintenance/grounds experience.
• Knowledge of light to medium automotive and power equipment.
• Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical labor.
• Ability to communicate orally, in writing, and over the radio.

Responsibilities

• Mows and maintains terminal grounds and open spaces.
• Inspects and performs routine maintenance of airport buildings.
• Operates and maintains equipment including tractors, mowers and trucks.
• Collects and disposes of solid waste; cleans premises.
• Assists in setting up equipment for events and programs.
• Maintains runway and taxiway lighting per FAA standards.
• Responds to inquiries about airport policies; works with tenants and patrons.
• Reports to work regularly and performs other duties as assigned.
