Qualifications
- Must have QA inspection experience on airfield/pavement projects.
- Experience with EM 385-1-1 and OSHA safety requirements.
- Experience with federal construction projects preferred.
- Paving inspector certification required within 30 days.
Responsibilities
- Inspect airfield runway construction and pavement resurfacing to contract specs.
- Perform and support three-phase inspection system.
- Provide daily QA reports documenting on-site activities.
- Review contractor progress and pay requests for accuracy.
- Monitor submittals and RFIs; update log.
- Assist in punch-lists and final inspections prior to payment.
- Maintain Inspectors Site Inspection Report and safety compliance.
