Qualifications

• Must have active US Government Secret clearance or higher.
• Level 2 requires 2 years of military, aircraft maintenance, product manufacturing or technical writing experience; Level 3 requires 5 years.
• In lieu of formal education, 6–9 years of relevant experience may apply.
• Experience with engineering data and blueprints is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Derive information from released technical sources and write, rewrite or edit technical manuals and procedures.
• Interpret data from drawings and coordinate with engineers/SMEs to resolve discrepancies.
• Review products with customers and advise on proper use.
