Piper Aircraft, Inc. is seeking an Aircraft Worker for Subassembly on the 1st shift. This full-time role supports assembly, drilling, riveting and fastening of aircraft subassemblies according to Piper drawings and PPS instructions.

The role requires reading blueprints, using hand and power tools, and following safety and quality procedures to meet production schedules. Training and compliance with FAA requirements are essential.

Competenze

• High school diploma or equivalent or demonstrated trade training.
• Ability to work scheduled shift and overtime.
• Use of hand and power tools as required.
• Follow all safety procedures.
• Effective written and verbal communication.

Mansioni

• Drill out, dimple, countersink, rivet and torque aircraft parts and subassemblies.
• Assemble aircraft subassembly parts and accessories using common fasteners.
• Use various hand tools, electric, manual, and pneumatic equipment.
• Install fasteners and hardware per blueprints and BOMs.
• Read and utilize shop floor information, blueprints, specs, work orders.
• Maintain compliance with Piper QAM/QIM and FAA requirements.
• Perform rework on discrepancies as needed.
• Support housekeeping and department requirements.
