Elliott Aviation in Moline, IL seeks an Aircraft Structures Technician to inspect, repair, and install airframe and structural systems for business aircraft. You will read blueprints, use approved data, and ensure compliance with FAA documentation while delivering safe, high‑quality work.

This role requires 2+ years’ aviation experience, an A&P certificate (or willingness to obtain), and the ability to work overtime and varied shifts in a team setting.

Qualifikationen

• Bilingual? No. Candidates must have an A&P certificate or willingness to obtain it.
• Strong communication, organization and attention to detail are required.
• Good mechanical aptitude and ability to read/interpret technical data.

Aufgaben

• Owner of structural repair projects from pre-planning to aircraft delivery.
• Perform structural repairs/modifications using approved techniques.
• Inspect and troubleshoot airframe/structural systems and discrepancies.
• Read and apply blueprints, engineering orders, service bulletins and manuals.
• Ensure proper parts ordering and maintain documentation for projects.
• Maintain tool/calibration discipline and support on-the-job training.
