Job summary

Bombardier Learjet Inc. in Tucson seeks a sheet metal repair technician with 0–2 years of experience to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain customer aircraft. You will read mechanical drawings, work with basic hand tools, and comply with safety policies.

Primary location is Tucson. The role requires overtime availability, SIDA eligibility if needed, and basic PC skills. Training and development are supported within a diverse, equal-opportunity environment.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of sheet metal repair/modification experience.
• Completed sheet metal A/C Tech school or equivalent.
• Able to interpret mechanical engineering drawings.
• Clear written and verbal communication of aircraft status.
• Own a basic set of hand tools with ability to track them.
• Must obtain Ground Support Equipment qualifications as required.
• Willing to work overtime, including non-scheduled days and holidays.
• Able to obtain a Security badge (SIDA) if applicable.
• Basic PC skills.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair, inspect and perform maintenance on customer aircraft.
• Remove/install aircraft components as required.
• Fabricate or modify structural modifications on aircraft parts.
• Perform minor structural repairs on composite components.
• Assist in hidden damage inspection of aircraft structures.
• Assist with complex structural repairs on/off aircraft.
• Perform and document work per manuals and regulations.
• Operate ground support equipment.
• Assist with aircraft component repair.
• Perform mechanical/electrical removals and installations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
