This role involves examining, repairing, assembling, and testing aircraft accessories such as engines, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, fuselage, wings, and tanks, using hand tools and testing devices, in accordance with shop orders and manufacturer specifications.

Job Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance to prevent failures of aircraft systems and components.
• Determine repair or replacement needs; secure necessary parts from inventory.
• Repair, rework, and modify worn or defective assemblies, making necessary alterations.
• Follow approved maintenance procedures, consulting FAA-approved procedures, OEM technical data, and work instructions.
• Seek technical assistance from Maintenance Lead when needed.
• Inspect completed work to ensure standards and tolerances are met; perform rework if necessary.
• Conduct serviceability tests on repaired components/systems using specified test equipment.
• Complete work documentation, sign and stamp after operations.
• Submit work for review and final inspection, ensuring airworthiness certification.
• Report performance statistics and operational data as required.
• Accurately account for time and materials used.
• Comply with repair station procedures and company policies during maintenance activities.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• A or P License preferred.

Experience

Minimum of 5 years’ experience with at least one aircraft type, demonstrating proficiency in at least one aircraft discipline, such as Structures.
