M1 Support Services in Westlake, TX is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic I (Structures) for Lemoore, CA. The role involves repairs, rebuilds, and inspection of airframe structures, with emphasis on rigging, hydraulics, and component replacement to maintain airworthiness.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma, at least 3 years of airframe maintenance experience, and ability to obtain necessary licenses. The position is full-time with potential night shifts and travel as required.

Qualifications

• Must have 3 years o-level aircraft system maintenance experience.
• Must be able to obtain FAA license; military ratings may substitute.
• May require specialized work in sheet-metal, electric, avionics or related disciplines.
• Must be able to read and interpret maintenance manuals and data.

Responsibilities

• Repairs, replaces, and rebuilds aircraft structures of moderate difficulty.
• Applies knowledge of airframe systems to determine malfunctions and restore operation.
• Reads maintenance manuals, service bulletins, and data to determine repair methods.
• Inspects airframe components for leaks, cracks and damage.
• Shall be able to supervise jacking/towing and document work in records.
