Job summary

Akima Technical Solutions (ATS) seeks an experienced aircraft structural mechanic to support phase and MWO work on MH-6/60/47 rotary-wing aircraft. duties include inspecting, repairing, and replacing structural components, and recording work in the phase book on-site at Fort Campbell North, KY.

Requirements include U.S. citizenship, ability to obtain a Secret clearance, minimum 6 years of structural repair experience, and the ability to pass respirator/hex chrome physical.

Qualifications

• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Must be able to obtain a Secret clearance.
• Must have own tools/toolbox.
• Minimum 6 years aircraft structural repair experience.
• Must pass respirator and hex chrome physical.

Responsibilities

• Adjust, repair, or replace aircraft structural systems and components during maintenance.
• Enter work in electronic logbook/phase book.
• Use powered tools for sheet metal operations and install fasteners on repairs.
• Remove/install panels and assist phase team during teardown, inspection, and reassembly.
• Work on respiratory protection program and pass respirator/hex chrome tests.
