Aviation Technology Associates (AVTECH Global) seeks an Aircraft Structural Mechanic for a 12-month contract in Savannah, GA. The role involves assembling riveted structures, reading blueprints, and ensuring quality control. Eligible candidates will have 1–6 years of relevant experience, a high school diploma, and may need a valid driver’s license. Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–6 years of related structural assembly experience.
• Experience with rivet work and reading blueprints.
• Valid driver's license may be required.
• Participation in a DOT/FAA drug and alcohol program may be required.

Responsibilities

• Perform assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures.
• Rivet assemblies using portable or pneumatic rivet guns and related tools.
• Read work orders, blueprints, lofts and operation sheets to plan rivet work.
• Ensure defective-free assemblies before final inspection.
• Maintain logs/records like MIR sheets and PCOs.
• Work with jigs, fixtures, pins, and fasteners to align parts.
