Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Fort Worth seeks an RS Structural Mech II on 2nd shift. You will perform sheet metal assembly and related operations in the Fort Worth facility, using rivet guns, drills, and precision tools to build aircraft structures.

Candidates need a high school diploma and 2 years of structural assembly experience; Solumina and Smarteam experience preferred. Must follow safety rules and quality standards; this is a full-time night shift position.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years related structural assembly experience.
• Experience with Solumina and Smarteam preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely perform assembly and fitting of detail parts and structures; drill and rivet operations.
• Rivet structural assemblies using portable riveting guns and pneumatic tools.
• Read work orders, blueprints, and operation sheets to determine hole patterns and sequence of operations.
• Ensure assemblies meet requirements and perform final inspection readiness checks.
• Maintain logs and records (MIR, DMTs, Crabs, PCOs).
• Align parts with jigs and fixtures; form complex angles per blueprint specs.
