Position Overview:

This position requires a basic knowledge of turbine aircraft structures and related systems. The job includes mastery of all basic metal functions with hand and power tools common to the aircraft sheet metal trade, as well as understanding of blueprints, quality control, and regulatory requirements. Duties will vary daily and are designated by the Team Leader. May be required to work independently or lead small projects.

Responsibilities:
  • Attend work daily, including overtime and weekends. Notify supervisor in advance if unable to work.
  • Have reliable transportation to work each day.
  • Perform work in accordance with FAA guidelines.
  • Follow all safety and company rules.
  • Maintain customer-oriented work habits.
  • Uphold quality standards and adhere to sheet metal procedures.
Job Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • A&P License preferred.
  • Valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or valid passport.
  • 2-5 years aircraft maintenance experience preferred.
  • 2 years experience on aircraft sheet metal.
  • Self-motivated, able to work at a rapid pace, and work independently.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs., perform routine physical motions, and understand regulations.
Supervision:
  • Work under supervision of the Team Leader and Director of Maintenance.
Working Conditions:
  • Primarily in a heated hangar, with outside work as needed.
  • Work around aircraft, possibly at heights requiring ladders and stands.
Equipment Used:
  • Personal hand tools, pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical equipment, jacks, stands, lifts, tugs, and power carts.
