Lockheed Martin in Greenville Backshop is seeking a Sheetmetal Technician Level 3 to support the build, repair, and delivery of aircraft components. The role requires extensive aviation sheetmetal/structures experience and proficiency with fabrication using jigs, fixtures, tools, and precision measuring equipment.

Ideal candidates have strong ability to read specifications and drawings and may have experience with aircraft modification or heavy structures.

Formación

• 8+ years of Aviation Sheetmetal or Structures experience.
• Experience performing Parts fabrication, assembly and installation work using assembly, jigs, fixtures, test equipment, precision measuring instruments, and mechanics hand tools.
• Experience reading and interpreting written specifications, blueprints and engineering drawings, understanding symbols, flags, and general notes.

Responsabilidades

• Support the backshop for build, repair and delivery of aircraft and aircraft components.
• Fabricate, assemble and install parts using jigs, fixtures and precision tools.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications to ensure correct fabrication and assembly.
