Job summary

PlanIT Group, LLC in Greenville, SC is seeking a C-130 Flight control sheet metal mechanic to plan, lay out, fabricate, assemble, install, and repair aircraft structures for modifications in accordance with technical manuals and FAA regulations.

The role requires at least 8 years of sheetmetal/structures experience; preferred background includes flight control or thinner material work, back shop fabrication, and part fabrication; shifts available: 1st or 2nd.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years structures/Sheetmetal experience.
• Experience with flight controls or thinner materials preferred.
• Experience with aircraft structures and FAA regulations per manuals/drawings.

Responsibilities

• Plans, lays out, fabricates, assembles, installs, and repairs aircraft structures and surfaces for modifications per manuals, drawings, and FAA regulations.
• Experience with thinner materials, flight controls, or back shop repair.
• Part fabrication experience is desired.
• Company provided tools.
