Job summary

RECARO Aircraft Seating in Fort Worth seeks a Design Validation Engineer II to independently execute structural and crashworthiness validations for aircraft seating systems. The role involves advanced numerical analysis and collaboration with design teams.

The ideal candidate has a B.S. in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering and several years' experience in aircraft interiors. You will be responsible for both technical guidance and the certification process.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of experience in aircraft interior products or a Master's degree with at least 2 years' experience.
• Evidence of ability to hand calculate generating reserve factors.
• Minimum of 2 years of Finite element analysis experience.

Responsibilities

• Execute structural design validation for compliance with FAA and other requirements.
• Perform linear and non-linear static analysis and dynamic crash simulations.
• Develop and maintain finite element models for certification scenarios.
• Analyze physical test results and validate assumptions.
• Provide technical guidance to certification programs.
