Job summary

Recaro Aircraft Seating Americas, Inc is seeking an on-site seat repair technician to perform repairs and modifications on aircraft seats and components at the Boeing customer site.

The role requires 0-2 years of FAA Repair Station experience, ability to read detailed drawings, and willingness to travel. Candidates must have a high school diploma or GED and a valid driver's license. Overtime and travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of repair and inspection experience in a FAA Repair Station environment.
• Must be able to work flexible hours; overtime and infrequent travel required on short notice.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must be able to read and interpret detailed drawings and specifications.
• Must be able to accurately measure and make adjustments to meet specifications.
• Must be able to use hand tools and various other assembly tools (ratchet, etc.).
• Requires a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Must have good communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs repairs and modifications on seats using blueprints and manuals.
• Maintains status logs and documents repair parts handling and delivery.
• Travels to Boeing to repair seats and address customer concerns.
• Provides input to Engineering on seat component design issues and revisions.
• Conducts training for customer maintenance personnel on RECARO seats.
