Job summary

Million Air is seeking an Aircraft Refueling Specialist to provide efficient service to customers and internal teams. You will handle fueling, ground services, and aircraft care while communicating with passengers, pilots, and crew in a high-energy outdoor environment.

The role requires a high school diploma, a willingness to work evenings and weekends, and a clean driving record. This is a non-exempt, on-site position with opportunities for merit-based raises and benefits.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience in the service industry preferred.
• Prior aircraft ground handling experience a plus.
• High School Diploma required and ability to pass background checks.

Responsibilities

• Aircraft movement, fueling, and storage.
• Fuel movement, quality control, disposal, daily paperwork.
• Servicing various aircraft types, including ground services and crew needs.
• Maintain crew cars and ramp vehicles; assist with facility upkeep.
• Promote services and participate in monthly crew meetings.

The Aircraft Refueling Specialist is responsible for providing efficient service for all internal and external customers by using excellent, in-depth knowledge of company procedures and proper ground handling of aircraft, refueling, air craft services as well as communicating effectively with passengers, pilots, and team members within the customer service department.

Requirements

Responsibilities and Duties

• Aircraft movement, placement, fueling, and storage
• Fuel movement- quality control, disposal, daily paperwork and documentation
• Servicing aircraft of all types to include fueling, ground services, cleaning, meeting airline crew needs.
• Daily check and upkeep of crew cars and ramp vehicles
• Facility maintenance and upkeep
• Customer service, promotion of services
• Monthly crew meetings
• Annual re-current training

Reporting Relationship

This position reports to the Line Service Manager

Work Environment

This position works outside in all types of weather conditions and direct contact with both moving and non-moving aircraft. This position may be exposed to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job, to include but not limited to:

• Must be able to lift 75 pounds
• Possible exposure to hazardous noise levels, chemicals, fumes, and machinery
• Outside work in all types of weather conditions
• Position may require bending, lifting, walking, stooping, squatting, gripping, and climbing a ladder

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work

• This is a non-exempt position
• This position includes shift work which requires working evenings and weekends, and on scheduled company holidays.

No travel is expected for this position.

• Customer service experience in the service industry preferred

Starting salary $18.00 /HR with a .50 increase at 90 and 180 days, annual merit increase at your anniversary date to include an annual year end bonus.
