Piedmont Airlines in Roanoke, VA is seeking an Aircraft Records Clerk in the Maintenance Department. This role focuses on accurate computer entries of maintenance actions and filing all records. To continue our standard of excellence, Piedmont is seeking a motivated, reliable professional to join our team as an Aircraft Records Clerk in our Maintenance Department. This position is responsible for accurate and complete computer entries of maintenance actions and for filing all maintenance records. The successful candidate will have an excellent attention to detail and previous experience with aircraft records and aviation terminology. This position reports to the Aircraft Maintenance Records Supervisor.

Essential Duties:

• Responsible for accurate and complete computer entries of maintenance actions

• File all maintenance records

• Scan, index, and audit records downloaded into records software

• Ensure the Major Component Auditor receives necessary documentation related to the repair and replacing of any engine

• Maintain and control issued Identification Stamp in accordance with Company guidelines

Job Qualifications and Competencies:

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

• Excellent attention to detail

• Previous experience with aircraft records

• Knowledge of aviation terminology

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with aircraft records software

Work Environment:

• Standard office equipment, use of telephones, computers, and other office equipment

• Airport ramp and warehouse environment, subject to varied weather conditions and elevated noise levels

• Available to work any shift including nights, weekends, and holidays

Physical Requirements:

• Occasional lifting up to 25 pounds

• Frequent stooping, bending, kneeling, walking, standing, reaching, lifting, climbing up and down stairs
