Job summary

Textron Aviation in Mesa, AZ is seeking an Experienced Aircraft Line Service Attendant to perform hands-on line service tasks for company and customer aircraft and related facilities maintenance.

You will wash, polish, refuel and service exterior and interior of aircraft, tow and park aircraft on ramps, transport parts and tools, and maintain cleaning and safety standards while complying with security requirements. This full-time, on-site role requires attention to safety and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma, an equivalent certificate, or a bronze level WorkKeys certification.
• Requires ability to read shop orders, use basic mathematics, and maintain required records and forms.
• Must maintain current driver’s license.
• Minimum 2 years of experience performing line service duties such as fueling and cleansing aircraft.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an airport security badge through the local airport authority, if applicable.

Responsibilities

• Performs line service duties from shop orders–tows, parks, and secures aircraft on ramps and hangars.
• Washes, cleans, polishes, or waxes exterior; services interior of aircraft.
• Defuels and fuels aircraft; completes fuel usage forms and records.
• Operates group power units and other aircraft service equipment.
• Transports personnel, parts, tools, and supplies to the Air Transportation Department.
• Cleans ramps and service facilities; moves equipment and storage bins as needed.
• Maintains service equipment and vehicles; performs routine maintenance checks.
• Observes and complies with all safety rules and procedures.
