Job summary

Horizon Air is seeking a Ground Service Agent to support ramp operations, helping to load and unload luggage, prepare cargo manifests, and assist with aircraft servicing. The role requires physical fitness and a flexible schedule to cover nights, weekends, and holidays.

You’ll work in a fast-paced environment with safety as a core value, coordinating with flight crews and ground crews to keep flights on time. Training will be provided, and opportunities exist to grow within the Horizon network.

Qualifications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to juggle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Must have a valid unexpired driver’s license (US).
• Ability to consistently lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.

Responsibilities

• Load and offload luggage and cargo, transporting to various airport locations.
• Distribute all paperwork to flight crews including fuel slips, load plans, cargo manifests and flight releases.
• Marshals and pushes back aircraft.
• Prepares weight and balance forms and inputs data accurately.
• Service aircraft including lavatory, potable water, grooming, deicing and security searches.
• Operates and/or drives equipment (belt-loaders, tugs, deice trucks, etc.).
