Job summary

Valence Surface Technologies is hiring for a full-time Inspector in Garden Grove, CA. The role requires inspecting aircraft parts, reading blueprints and planning docs, and ensuring quality across processes.

Weekends 12-hr shifts 5am-5:30pm, with PPE, and a strong emphasis on safety and continuous improvement. The position requires a high school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of inspection experience, with physical demands including lifting up to 75 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED is required.
• 1+ years of experience in Inspection.
• Must be able to perform essential functions and read blueprints and planning docs.
• Ability to lift 50-75 lbs and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Perform and document in-process, first article, receiving and final inspections on aircraft parts and processes.
• Read and interpret planning documents, tool design, blue prints, specifications and quality inspection procedures to develop clear, complete and precise records of inspection.
• Calibrate inspection tools and equipment prior to using.
• Interface with other individuals from various departments on issues related to quality.
• Provide and assist operators in understanding and interpreting quality specifications and procedures.
• Initiate and prepare nonconformance reports and provide to QA administrators.
• Conduct internal audits as required.
• Suggests new and improved methods for continuous improvement of the quality management system.
• Perform other tasks as assigned.
