Job summary

Aerotek is seeking an Aircraft Quality Inspector for a Midland, Texas contract role. Relocation to Midland is required. Pay is $35.00 per hour with potential per diem eligibility.

Responsibilities include in-process and final inspections of electrical and mechanical assemblies, First Article Inspections, and documenting nonconformances. You will communicate quality issues to cross-functional teams in a GMP environment.

Qualifications

• Sound knowledge of aerospace manufacturing and production standards.
• Experience with detailed product inspections using blueprints/specifications and precision measuring equipment.
• 3+ years of aerospace/aviation/military/manufacturing inspection experience.
• Experience with electrical systems and testing/inspection using portable measuring devices.
• Eligible to work in the US or hold Permanent Resident Card.

• Perform product inspections on finished goods, including First Article Inspections.
• Document production nonconformance according to procedures and standards.

Establish professionalism and timelines in the performance of daily activities. Communicate effectively to personnel any quality issues needing resolutions. Work on multiple assignments concurrently while maintaining flexibility to the production schedule. Monitor the use of calibrated measuring instruments.Responsibilities
