About the Role

Our client is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Aircraft Quality Control Inspector to join their aviation maintenance operations in Welkom . In this crucial role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all aircraft maintenance and repair work performed meets the highest standards of quality, safety, and regulatory compliance. You will conduct thorough inspections of aircraft components, systems, and completed work, meticulously documenting findings and authorizing work progression. This position is vital to maintaining the airworthiness of the fleet and upholding our client's commitment to excellence in aviation services.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform detailed inspections of aircraft structures, systems, and components during various maintenance phases.
• Verify that all maintenance, repair, and overhaul work complies with manufacturer specifications, engineering orders, and regulatory standards.
• Ensure all work is properly documented in the aircraft's maintenance records, maintaining strict traceability.
• Conduct audits of maintenance personnel's work practices and tool accountability to ensure adherence to procedures.
• Identify non-conforming work or material and initiate appropriate corrective actions and reporting.
• Collaborate with maintenance technicians and engineers to resolve quality issues and ensure timely release of aircraft.

Requirements

• Valid Aircraft Maintenance Technician (AMT) license or equivalent certification.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in aircraft quality control or maintenance inspection.
• In-depth knowledge of aircraft systems, structures, and associated maintenance procedures.
• Familiarity with aviation regulatory requirements (e.g., SACAA regulations).
• Strong attention to detail and exceptional observational skills.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and drawings.
